Ne-Yo will make his Broadway debut in Hell's Kitchen this winter, assuming the role of Davis in the Alicia Keys musical at the Shubert Theatre starting December 4.

Ne-Yo is a three-time Grammy Award-winning R&B musician known for songs like “Give Me Everything,” “Sexy Love,” “Because of You,” “Miss Independent,” “Let Me Love You,” and “Time of Our Lives.” In addition to being a singer/songwriter, he is known to theatre fans for playing the Tin Man on NBC's The Wiz Live! in 2015.

“I’ve performed on a lot of stages in my life, but making my Broadway debut in Hell's Kitchen is something truly special,” Ne-Yo said in a statement. “Alicia created a world that’s real, raw, and full of soul, and stepping into the role of Davis lets me explore a whole new side of storytelling.”

“I’m so excited that Ne-Yo is making his Broadway debut and joining the Hell's Kitchen family at the iconic Shubert Theatre,” said Keys in a statement. “His special talent is going to bring even more magic to this powerful show! Our story is about finding community, finding your place and we are excited to welcome him into the role of Davis! This is going to [be] unforgettable!!”

Ne-Yo will assume the role from Durrell "Tank" Babbs, who plays Davis through November 30.

Inspired by Alicia Keys's adolesence and set to her hit songs, Hell’s Kitchen follows 17-year-old Ali as she discovers herself, her independence, and her passion for music.
