They're a picture-perfect team! Tony Award winners Nathan Lane and Danny Burstein and Tony nominee Zoë Wanamaker are set to star in a new Broadway play, Pictures From Home, by Sharr White. Tony winner Bartlett Sher directs the production, which begins performances at Studio 54 on January 10 ahead of a February 9 opening night.

Pictures From Home is based on the same-named memoir by photographer Larry Sultan. The play is set in 1981, when Sultan decides his next photo and interview subjects will be his parents in order to find out the dark truths behind their picture-perfect facade. The show is White's third Broadway play and his first return to Broadway in 10 years, following The Other Place and The Snow Geese in 2013.

Lane is a three-time Tony Award winner for his roles in The Producers, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Angels in America. A prolific stage and screen actor, his other Broadway credits include Guys and Dolls, The Addams Family, Nance, and The Front Page. He most recently performed on Broadway in Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus in 2019. In 2022, he won an Emmy Award for his guest appearance on the TV show Only Murders in the Building.

Burstein is a seven-time Tony nominee, who won in 2020 for playing Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical. His other award-nominated stage credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, and Follies.

Wanamaker is a four-time Tony nominee for Piaf, Loot, Electra, and Awake and Sing! For her work in London theatre, she has won two Olivier Awards, for Once In A Lifetime and Electra.

Sher won the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for the 2008 revival of South Pacific. Sher is known for directing the stage adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird and revivals of The King and I and My Fair Lady. After Pictures From Home, he's set to direct a revival of Camelot on Broadway in March.

With Pictures from Home, Sher reunites with Wanamaker, who he directed in Awake and Sing!, and Burstein, who he directed in South Pacific and Fiddler on the Roof.

Additional creative team will be announced at a later date.
