My Deah at the June Havoc Theatre


Abingdon Theatre Company presents My Deah, by John Epperson, opening at Abingdon's June Havoc Theatre on 25 Oct 2006, following previews from 13 Oct and running through to 12 Nov 2006.

In My Deah: Freely adapted from Euripides' Medea. My Deah Hedgepeth - an ex-beauty queen from Louisiana - has learned that her husband Gator, a former Mississippi football star, plans to abandon her to marry Simplicity Bullard, the daughter of the corrupt Governor Bullard. Knowing this My Deah lays out her plans for revenge.

Directed by Mark Waldrop, My Deah features Nancy Opel, Bryan Batt, Lori Gardner, Geoffrey Molloy, Jay Rogers, and Kevin Townley.

Set design and lighting by Mark Simpson, with costumes by Ramona Ponce and sound by Matt Berman.
