
'Mary Jane' sets full Broadway cast joining Rachel McAdams
Manhattan Theatre Club presents the Broadway premiere of Pulitzer Prize finalist Amy Herzog's drama at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre beginning in April.
Manhattan Theatre Club has announced the complete cast for its production of Mary Jane on Broadway, starring Rachel McAdams. Performances begin at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on April 2 ahead of an April 23 opening.
Alongside McAdams in the title role are April Matthis, Susan Pourfar, Lily Santiago, and Brenda Wehle.
Additionally, the creative team will include set designer Lael Jellinek, costume designer Brenda Abbandandolo, lighting designer Ben Stanton, sound designer Leah Gelpe, and hair, wig, and makeup designer J. Jared Janas.
Mary Jane, written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award nominee Amy Herzog and directed by Tony winner Sam Gold, follows a single mother coping with her child's chronic illness. She finds support and optimism in a diverse group of women — but is their friendship enough?
