'Lonely Rhymes' at 59E59's Theater B

Prospect Theater Company present Lonely Rhymes, a musical revue with book, music and lyrics by Peter Mills, playing at 59E59's Theater B from the 24 - 27 Sep 2005. Part of the Second New York Musical Theatre Festival.

This comic song cycle touchingly examines loneliness in modern day New York, and the often-hilarious search to find true connections in a city of twelve million people.

Other works includes The Alchemists, Illyria, The Taxi Cabaret, The Flood and Marco Polo.

Peter Mills may be the cleverest new songwriter on the New York theatre scene. His lyrics often leave me shaking my head with envy. - Stephen Schwartznp

Directed by Cara Reichel, Lonely Rhymes features Jason Mills, Tracey Moore, Liz Power and Noah Weisberg.

The show has set design by Erik Flatmo, costumes by David Kaley and lighting by Ji-Youn Chang.
