Jonathan Cable to join Jersey Boys at New World Stages

Cable will assume the role of Nick Massi in the musical's open-ended Off-Broadway run.

Get ready to see Jonathan Cable walk like a man! Cable will join the Jersey Boys cast as Nick Massi in the hit musical's open-ended run at New World Stages. Cable will appear in the show from February 17, taking over the role from Keith Hines.

The Jersey Boys quartet is completed by Aaron De Jesus (as Frankie Valli), CJ Pawlikowski (as Bob Gaudio), and John Rochette (as Tommy DeVito).

The ensemble is completed by Dianna Marie Barger, Tristen Buettel, Andrew Frace, Rory Max Kaplan, Joey LaVarco, Austin Owen, Michelle Rombola, Paul Sabala, Nathan Lee Scherich and Dru Serkes.

Jersey Boys received its Broadway premiere at the August Wilson Theatre on November 6, 2005, where it ran for over 11 years. The musical returned to New York's theatre scene on November 22, 2017, where it has played a continuous run at New World Stages ever since.

Synopsis: "They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard... and the radio just couldn't get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story -- a story that has made them an international sensation all over again".

The tuner features music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, with a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.

Jersey Boys is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Tony Award winner Sergio Trujillo. The production includes music supervision, vocal/dance arrangements & incidental music by Ron Melrose and orchestrations by Steve Orich.

The creative team also features scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, and projection design by Michael Clark. John Miller serves as the music co-ordinator for the production.  

Jersey Boys is produced off-Broadway by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, Latitude Link, and Tommy Mottola. 

Jersey Boys Tickets are available now for performances through November 22, 2020.
