Tony Award-nominated director Jamie Lloyd (Sunset Boulevard, Waiting for Godot) is associated with stark minimalism, but his production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing is a different beast. It's a riot of high spirits and pink confetti with two A-listers — Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell — at its center.

First staged in the West End in 2025, Lloyd’s production is set to run on Broadway from October 31 to January 10. Hiddleston and Atwell star as sparring lovers Benedick and Beatrice, and the entire West End cast is set to reprise their roles on Broadway, too. In a five-star review, LondonTheatre.co.uk’s critic dubbed the show “a riotous Barbie-pink, disco-tastic, gleefully goofy revival [...] Hiddleston and Atwell turn these ingredients into a full-on banquet of both blissful comedy and ecstatic romance.”
