The Seven Guitars cast includes Chanté Adams as Ruby, Jason Dirden as Canewell, Russell Hornsby as Floyd "Schoolboy" Barton, Kristolyn Lloyd as Vera, Michael Potts as Red Carter, Roslyn Ruff as Louise, and John Douglas Thompson as Hedley. Taylor Elise Jackson, Warner Miller, Simone Moore, and Kevyn Morrow are understudies.

Set in 1940s Pittsburgh, Seven Guitars unfolds through stories told by friends of Floyd “Schoolboy” Barton, a musician determined to win back the woman he loves and build a life beyond what's expected for Black American men. This revival marks a full-circle moment for Santiago-Hudson, who won his first Tony Award for performing in the show's 1996 Broadway premiere.
