The National Theatre's Olivier Award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is now booking til 29 Mar 2015, with previews beginning on 15 Sep 2014 and an opening set for 5 Oct 2014, at Broadway's Barrymore Theatre.

At the 2013 Laurence Olivier Awards in London, the play won a total of seven awards, equalling the record set by Matilda the Musical in 2012, including Best Director for Marianne Elliott and Best New Play.

Adapted from the novel by Mark Haddon, the play was written by Simon Stephens and, under the direction of Marianne Elliott, it opened at the National Theatre's Cottesloe Theatre on 02 Aug 2012. After a successful run until late Oct 2012 and a live broadcast to cinemas worldwide through National Theatre Live, it moved into the West End's Apollo Theatre in Mar 2013.

On 19 Dec 2013, due to the collapse of part of the theatre ceiling, performances had to be cancelled and it was later announced that the production would resume performances at the neighbouring Gielgud Theatre on 24 Jun 2014.

Synopsis: 'Fifteen-year old Christopher has an extraordinary brain; he is exceptionally intelligent but ill- equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor's dog, he sets out to identify the true culprit, which leads to an earth-shattering discovery and a journey that will change his life forever.'

The production is directed by Marianne Elliott, designed by three-time Olivier Award-winner Bunny Christie, with lighting by Tony Award-winner Paule Constable, video design by Finn Ross, movement by Scott Graham and Olivier Award-winner Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph.

The play will be produced on Broadway by Stuart Thompson and by Tim Levy for National Theatre America.
