Carolee Carmello to star in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Bad Cinderella’ cast on Broadway

The three-time Tony Award-nominated actress will play the Stepmother.

We’re welcoming a new group to Belleville, as Bad Cinderella announces its Broadway cast. Bad Cinderella begins previews at the Imperial Theatre on February 17, ahead of an opening night on March 23. Get Bad Cinderella tickets on New York Theatre Guide.

As previously revealed, Linedy Genao leads the cast as Cinderella. She’s joined by Carolee Carmello as the Stepmother. Carmello is currently playing John Dickinson in the Broadway revival of 1776. A Beautiful Noise's Jordan Dobson plays Prince Sebastian.

Grace McLean will play the Queen, with Christina Acosta Robinson as the Godmother, and Morgan Higgins and Sami Gayle as stepsisters Marie and Adele.

Raymond Baynard, Michael Baerga, Lauren Boyd, Tristen Buettel, Kaleigh Cronin, Josh Drake, Ben Lanham, Angel Lozada, Cameron Loyal, Mariah Lyttle, Sarah Meahl, Christian Probst, Larkin Reilly, Julio Rey, Lily Rose, J. Savage, Tregoney Shepherd, Dave Schoonover, Paige Smallwood, Aléna Watters, Alyssa Carol, Gary Cooper, Robin Masella, Michael Milkanin, Chloe Nadon-Enriquez and Lucas Thompson complete the Bad Cinderella cast.

Inspired by the Cinderella fairytale, Bad Cinderella follows the title princess — she’s now a rebel and refuses to play by the rules. Quickly, Cinderella learns that inner beauty is better than a makeover.

Killing Eve’s Emerald Fennell writes the original script, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Zippel. Bad Cinderella continues a 43-year streak of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical on Broadway.

Bad Cinderella is at the Imperial Theatre.
