'Ain't Too Proud' announces Broadway rush and lottery policies
The musical restarts performances October 16.
Get ready! Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations will offer $42 tickets through both an in-person rush and a digital lottery. Both will begin when performances resume at the Imperial Theatre on October 16.
Rush tickets will be available when the box office opens at 10 a.m. each day (except Sunday, when it opens at noon). Each customer may purchase up to two rush tickets for that night's performance. Tickets are subject to availability, and seating locations are determined by the box office.
Digital lottery entries will be open from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m. the day before each performance. Winners will then be notified and must purchase their tickets online with a credit card. They can pick up their tickets prior to the performance the next day at the box office.
Ain't Too Proud, which won a 2019 Tony Award for Best Choreography, chronicles the group's career from their first meeting to the peaks of their success years later — as well as the internal disputes that threatened to break them up. Nik Walker, James Harkness, Jawan M. Jackson, Matt Manuel, and Jelani Remy star as The Temptations and perform all the group's greatest hits.
Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations tickets are on sale on New York Theatre Guide now.
