Christopher Jackson is best known for originating the role of George Washington in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton on Broadway, winning a Grammy Award and earning a Tony Award nomination. He also originated the role of Benny in Miranda's In the Heights, and additional Broadway credits include The Lion King, Bronx Bombers, Holler If Ya Hear Me, Memphis, and Hell's Kitchen.

Jackson's TV roles include Chunk Palmer in Bull, Perry Loftus in Oz, and Herbert Wexley in And Just Like That.... He also won an Emmy Award for composing the song "What I Am" for Sesame Street.
