
Bradley Whitford stars in A Few Good Men at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on Broadway from October 8, 2026. He returns to Aaron Sorkin's play after making his Broadway debut in its 1990 premiere, which began their long collaboration.
Whitford is best known for his Emmy Award-winning performances as Josh Lyman on Sorkin's The West Wing, Marcy in Transparent, and Commander Joseph Lawrence in The Handmaid's Tale. Additional major TV roles include Danny Tripp in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, also by Sorkin; Timothy Carter in The Mentalist, and Roger Peralta in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and film roles include Eric Gordon in Billy Madison, Arthur Parsons in The Post, and Dean Armitage in Get Out.
In theatre, Whitford has appeared on Broadway in the 2008 revival of Boeing-Boeing, starred as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol on tour, and played theatre composer Stephen Sondheim in director Lin-Manuel Miranda's movie musical tick...tick...BOOM!
