Christmas Spectacular starring The Radio City Rockettes

Christmas Spectacular starring The Radio City Rockettes Tickets

New York City's premiere precision dance troupe The Rockettes bring the most festive show in town to Radio City Music Hall to celebrate the holiday season in the heart of Manhattan. Christmas Spectacular first debuted at the iconic venue in 1933 and quickly became a beloved, annual New York tradition. Indeed, two of the production's most iconic scenes - "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and "The Living Nativity" - which delighted audiences back in 1933 are still perfectly intact in the version seen by theatregoers today. The latter scene also incorporates live animals onstage, including sheep, donkeys, and even camels.

Over the years, the Christmas Spectacular has, of course, evolved to reflect technological advancements and now boasts a huge LED backdrop and even 3D capabilities and drone usage. The cast also boasts around 140 performers during the 90-minute show and seeing The Rockettes in action is the gift that continues to keep on giving. Their precision technique requires nothing short of perfection and their glittering costumes dazzle just as much as their smiles. In short, they truly are a New York institution in their own right.

Christmas Spectacular gives youngsters festive memories to last them a lifetime and offers the perfect opportunity for every generation of the family to come together at the most wonderful time of the year and share in the festive spirit.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night of family-friendly entertainment!

Blog: The Christmas Spectacular... Oh, What Fun!
December 3, 2018

The tourists come piling into town this time of year. They stop dead just through a doorway and stare at their phones in a group completely unaware of who is around them trying to get by. At Radio City Music Hall when the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes is playing, these tourists multiply to impossible numbers and there are barricades on the sidewalk and in the streets making it all worse. My daughter begins to grumble, "Remind me why I agreed to do this!"

Our Christmas Spectacular starring The Radio City Rockettes Review

Yes, it’s (already) that time of the year again, folks! We haven’t even carved the Thanksgiving turkey yet, but that doesn’t stop those fabulous Rockettes from donning a sparkling outfit or two and bringing us their annual Christmas Spectacular once again. No siree bub!
