George Bernard Shaw's ARMS AND THE MAN is one of Shaw's most enduringly popular sparklingly farcical comedies that is on just about everybody's "Favorite Shaw" list. The plot follows a hunted solider who, seeking refuge in a young lady's boudoir, starts in motion a series of highly engaging and unlikely comedic events. Great acting, Entertaining, Clever

See it if into an 1894 Shaw classic about war and romance. An excellent cast and direction, and a lovely set. Nicely paced: 2 hours, 2 intermissions.

Don’t see it if well... wonderful comic timing surely elevates this, but this is a gentle comedy, with the sensibilities of its time.
