Intense, Great staging, Entertaining, Great singing, Fabulous puppets

See it if you love The Magic Flute. This is a extraordinary whimsical new staging using puppets to extend the theatricality of the production.

Don’t see it if you feel stressing production elements distracts from the singing even though the singing in this production is spectacular.

Delightful, Entertaining, Great singing, Great staging, Quirky

See it if I loved the use of puppetry in opera. Lots of humor and actual acting. Shortened version in English makes it more accessible. Rotating set!

Don’t see it if A little too long for a one act.

Those puppets, though, Delightful, Great staging, Great singing, Ahh, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah!

See it if It's super fun;great 1st opera for kids. ALSO a great 1st opera for adults. Fantastic puppetry & a fun story. Short enough you'll want more.

Don’t see it if You want the traditional German version. But having seen both versions this year, I can say that the original's better, but this is more fun

Beautiful, Great staging, Exquisite, Enchanting, Absorbing

See it if You enjoy immersion into fairytale settings and costumes. The costumes are playful and memorable. It’s succinct for an opera, & in English!

Don’t see it if You don’t not enjoy traditional tropes in heightened characterization or you want to see something classically presented. Very interpretive
