Inspired by the financial tribulations of investment banking company Lehman Brothers, Stefano Massani's The Lehman Trilogy charts two centuries of family history behind the business. The Lehman Trilogy was nominated for five Olivier Awards in London, including best new play.

Simon Russell Beale and Adam Godley will reprise their performances, with Adrian Lester making his Broadway debut as he joins the cast. Sam Mendes directs the production, saying: "It couldn't be more perfect that Adrian Lester will be joining our production of The Lehman Trilogy on Broadway. He was the first person I offered the role to, way back when we first mounted the production in London at the National Theatre, so on some level it feels like destiny."

The creative team includes scenic design by Es Devlin, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting design by Jon Clark and sound design by Dominic Bilkey and Nick Powell.

The Lehman Trilogy is at the Nederlander Theatre from September 25.
