‘Sleep No More’ to reopen at The McKittrick Hotel
Sleep No More adapts Shakespeare’s Macbeth in an immersive scope.
A reopening date has been confirmed for the transformed Macbeth retelling of Sleep No More. Sleep No More resumes performances at the McKittrick Hotel from October 4, continuing its open-ended run.
Sleep No More is an immersive adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The Scottish tragedy is dramatised through a film noir lens, with audiences visiting up to 100 rooms in their own order to discover the story in their own space.
The Sleep No More creative team is led by Felix Barrett and Maxine Doyle as director and choreographer respectively. Barrett is also in charge of scenic design, with sound design by Stephen Dobbie. Sleep No More is produced by Emursive in association with rebecca gold productions.
As well as Sleep No More, the McKittrick Hotel will also be home to Speakeasy Magick. Speakeasy Magick begins on July 23 and you can find out shows opening in New York in July here.
Sleep No More is at the McKittrick Hotel from October 4.
