Mamie Parris will return to School of Rock on Broadway
Ms. Parris returns to the role of Principal Rosalie Mullins in the hit Broadway musical from September 25, 2018.
Welcome back to Horace Green! Mamie Parris is set to reprise her role as Principal Rosalie Mullins in Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit muscial School of Rock at the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway from September 25, 2018. Current cast member Katherine McLaughlin, who is currently making her Broadway debut, is scheduled to play her final performance in the role on September 23.
Mamie Parris previously played Rosalie in the Broadway production from November 9, 2015 through to October 9, 2016 and went on to assume the role of Grizabella in the Broadway revival of Cats from original cast member Leona Lewis. Her other Broadway credits On the Twentieth Century, Ragtime, 110 in the Shade, and The Drowsy Chaperone.

School of Rock officially opened on December 6, 2015, following previews from November 9. As previously reported, the production will play its final performance at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre on January 20, 2019.
Based on the 2003 film of the same name and directed by Laurence Connor, School of Rock features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Julian Fellowes.
Synopsis: "Down-on-his-luck wannabe rock star Dewey Finn poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school to make ends meet. When he discovers his students’ musical talents, he enlists his fifth-graders to form a rock group and conquer The Battle of the Bands."
The production features choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, scenic and costume design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Mick Potter, and music supervision by Ethan Popp.
School of Rock is produced on Broadway by Andrew Lloyd Webber for The Really Useful Group, Warner Music Group & Access Industries, The Shubert Organization, and The Nederlander Organization.
