She's simply the best! Katie Webber will assume the role of Rhonda in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. Webber is an original cast member of the show, performing in the ensemble and acting as the understudy for Rhonda.

Webber succeeds Jessica Rush in the role beginning April 12; Rush will play her final performance April 10. The current Broadway cast is led by Nkeki Obi-Melekwe as Tina alongside Nick Rashad Burroughs as Ike, Kayla Davion as Tina (at some performances), Tony Award nominee Myra Lucretia Taylor as Gran Georgeanna, and NaTasha Yvette Williams as Zelma.

Tina tells the story of how the Tennessee church singer Anna Mae Bullock overcame abuse and discrimination to blaze a historic career as Tina Turner, now known as the Queen of Rock and Roll. Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall's book combines with Turner's songbook to tell the story, and Phyllida Lloyd directs the Tony-nominated musical at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
