'Caroline, or Change' to host digital rush on TodayTix
The musical begins performances October 8 at Studio 54.
Get your pocket change ready! Caroline, or Change will offer rush tickets on the TodayTix app for its Broadway run at Studio 54. Performances begin October 8 and run through January 9, 2022, with October 27 as the show's opening night.
Rush tickets are available for $20 on the TodayTix app. Each performance day at 10 a.m., rush tickets become available to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. Users must "unlock" the rush program in advance by sharing a post about it on Facebook or Twitter. Caroline, or Change features a book and lyrics by Pulitzer-winning playwright Tony Kushner and music by Tony-nominated composer Jeanine Tesori. The titular character is the maid for the Gellman family, whose young son leaves change in his pockets for Caroline when she does his laundry. What begins as a simple, kind gesture soon breeds greed and complicates the relationship between the Gellmans and Caroline's own family. Sharon D Clarke reprises the role of Caroline which she originated in London, receiving an Olivier Award for her performance.
