The Theater Center is a 20,000 square-foot entertainment center. There are two theatres with a total seating capacity of 398. In the Anne L. Bernstein Theater is Perfect Crime, which is the longest-running play in New York history. The Jerry Orbach Theater houses a rotating lineup of shows. The performance space is named after the celebrated stage and screen actor Jerry Orbach, who performed in many Broadway shows and became a global celebrity for starring in the original Law and Order TV series.
The Theater Center is closest to the 50th St. subway stop on the 1 line. The nearest bus stops are W 49 St./7 Av. and W 50 St./7 Av. on the M50 line.
