The caterpillar is back for more! The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is returning to New York for the third time, beginning on February 10. The show will play the DR2 Theatre within the Daryl Roth Theatre complex.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show includes four of Eric Carle's classic children's stories in one show featuring 75 puppets. In addition to the title story, the hourlong production adapts Brown Bear, Brown Bear; 10 Little Rubber Ducks, and The Very Lonely Firefly.

Jonathan Rockefeller and Rockefeller Productions, who created and produced the critically acclaimed Winnie the Pooh and Sesame Street stage musical adaptations in 2022, also created The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show.

The musical premiered in New York in 2016 and returned for a brief second engagement in 2018.
