The Public Theater has announced the full ensemble cast for The Vagrant Trilogy by Mona Mansour. After being postponed from spring 2020, the New York-premiere production begins performances April 8 ahead of an April 25 opening. The show will run through May 8.

The cast includes Tala Ashe as Abir and others, Ramsey Faragallah as Ghassan and others, Osh Ghanimah as Hamzi and others, Nadine Malouf as Jamila and others, Rudy Roushdi as Jul and others, and Hadi Tabbal as Adham. Additionally, Bassam Abdelfattah is the understudy for Adham and Jul, and Caitlin Nasema Cassidy is the understudy for Abir and Jamila.

The cast plays a combined total of 19 characters in The Vagrant Trilogy, a play that spans several decades within its three parts. The story centers on Adham, a Palestinian Wordsworth scholar who travels to London with his wife to give a lecture. While he is there, war breaks out in Palestine, and he is left to decide whether to stay in London or return home. The play follows the drastically different ways Adham's life turns out if he makes either decision.

Obie Award winner and Drama Desk Award nominee Mark Wing-Davey directs. The creative team also includes scenic designer Allen Moyer; costume designer Dina El-Aziz; lighting designer Reza Behjat; sound designers Tye Hunt Fitzgerald and Sinan Refik Zafar; video designer Greg Emetaz; hair, wig, and make-up designer Tom Watson; and props managers Susan Barras and Alexander Wylie.
