UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict, Lauren E. Banks has replaced Arsema Thomas in The Blood Quilt Off-Broadway cast.
Lincoln Center Theater has named the complete cast for its fall production of The Blood Quilt at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Performances begin on October 30 ahead of a November 21 opening.
The Blood Quilt cast includes Crystal Dickinson, Mirirai, Adrienne C. Moore, Arsema Thomas, and Susan Kelechi Watson.
The production will also have direction by Lileana Blain-Cruz, sets by Adam Rigg, costumes by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting by Jiyoun Chang, sound by Palmer Hefferan, and projections by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew.
Playwright Katori Hall's The Blood Quilt follows four sisters who reunite at their childhood home on the Georgia coast to honor their deceased mother. They start out creating a "blood quilt" but end up reading their mom's will, which contains a troubling inheritance that could bind the sisters closer or break them apart.
