This news is golden! The new musical Shucked will offer rush and lottery tickets for its Broadway run. Performances begin March 8 ahead of an April 4 opening.

Shucked will offer a digital lottery for $40 tickets. The lottery will be open for entries between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. the day before each performance. Winners will be notified shortly after the lottery closes, and they will have one hour to claim and purchase their tickets for the following day's performance. Each person can request up to two tickets, and tickets are subject to availability.

Shucked will also have $35 rush tickets available in person at the box office. A limited number of rush tickets will be available when the box office opens at 10 a.m. every day (except Sunday, beginning March 27, when it opens at noon), and people can purchase up to two tickets for that day's performance. Tickets are subject to availability.

Shucked takes place in a rural town sustained by corn, and when the crop starts dying, a farmgirl must stall her wedding and travel to the big city to find someone to help. The show features a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn and a score by veteran country songwriters Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally.
