Nicknamed the "Roastmaster General," Jeff Ross is known for roasting celebrities. However, Ross is no meanie: he lost both of his parents at a young age and uses roasting as a tool to bring people together.

The Broadway premiere follows an eight-stop summer tour from June 27 to July 27. “Ever since my Aunt Bess took me to see Jackie Mason on Broadway when I was young, I’ve daydreamed about performing my own classy and uncensored one-man show,” said Ross in a statement. “I’m honored and excited by the opportunity to share my origin story of how I became the motherf-n Roastmaster General!."

He added, "This new show is designed to be a cathartic experience shared with others — I encourage you to bring people that might be going through tough times. I will shake them out of it with an evening of uncensored jokes, uplifting stories, songs and even some live roasting of the bravest volunteers."

Ross is a comedian known internationally as “The Roastmaster General” for his celebrity roasts on Comedy Central. His *GROAT (Greatest Roast of All Time): Tom Brady* earned him an Emmy Award nomination and streamed live to the biggest weekly audience ever for a Netflix special. He is also known for producing and starring in Netflix's *Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year* (also writer), *Bumping Mics with Jeff Ross & Dave Attell*, and *Historical Roasts*.

The Nederlander Theatre is one of the most iconic performing arts venues in New York City. As an intrinsic part of Broadway, this historic theater first opened its doors in 1921 and ever since then, it has been the stage for numerous successful Broadway shows and legendary musicals. In its early years, it was known as The National Theatre, where it hosted renowned productions such as Showboat, which revived the Golden Age of musical theatre. In 1980, the name of the theatre was changed to the Nederlander in honor of theatre owner David Nederlander. Since then, it hit new highs, staging several hit musicals including 'Rent,' which ran for a phenomenal 12 years. 

**How to get there**: The Nederlander Theatre is located at 208 W 41st St, New York, NY 10036. You can easily reach the venue via public transportation. If you're taking the subway, you can take the A, C, E to 42nd Street, exit at 41st Street, then walk a bit to the west. Alternatively, the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, R, Q, W, S trains all stop at Times Square 42nd Street.

Nederlander Theatre

Built by Walter C. Jordan, the Nederlander Theatre building was originally constructed as a carpenter's shop in 1920 and was converted into a theatre the following year. The venue officially opened as the National Theatre on September 1, 1921. Ownership of the theatre has changed hands several times over the years — the Shubert Organization originally owned the building until 1956, and Harry Fomkes and Billy Rose (who renamed the theatre after himself) took over in 1959.

The Nederlander Organization purchased the property in 1979 and briefly renamed it the Trafalgar Theatre, until it was renamed after the organization's founder, David T. Nederlander, in 1980.

The Nederlander Theatre, located on 41st Street, is the southernmost Broadway house.

The closest subway stop to the Nederlander Theatre is 42nd Street - Times Square on the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W, and S lines. The closest bus stops are 7th Av/W 41st St. on the M7, M20, or M104 lines and 7th Av/W 42nd St. on the M42, SIM8, SIM8X, SIM22, SIM25, SIM26, and SIM30 lines.
