Extra, extra! George Clooney is now on Broadway in Good Night, and Good Luck, a new play running at the Winter Garden Theatre through June 8 only.
In 2005, Clooney co-wrote, directed, and appeared in a supporting role of the film of the same name, about the on-air showdown between journalist Edward R. Murrow and anti-communist Senator Joseph McCarthy. Now, he's teamed up with his original co-screenwriter, Grant Heslov, and director David Cromer for the stage adaptation, in which he makes his Broadway debut as Murrow.
The cast also includes Ilana Glazer as Shirley Wershba, Clark Gregg as Don Hollenbeck, Mac Brandt as Colonel Anderson, Will Dagger as Don Hewitt, Christopher Denham as John Aaron, Glenn Fleshler as Fred Friendly, Paul Gross as William S.
