Friends! The Musical Parody was on a break, but now the show is back in New York. The musical send-up of the beloved sitcom will return to the Jerry Orbach Theater at the Theater Center on March 29 for an open-ended run. Opening night is April 5.

Friends! The Musical Parody last played the Theater Center from July to September 19, 2021, when the show kicked off its national tour there. Before that, the show had premiered at St. Luke's Theatre off Broadway in 2017.

The musical kicks off with Rachel, Joey, Ross, Monica, Chandler, and Phoebe at Central Perk, when a runaway bride appears and sweeps the group up in her big day. Friends! The Musical Parody includes moments and references from all 10 seasons of Friends and puts them to original songs like "The One Where We Make a Million Dollars an Episode," "We Were On A Break!," and "495 Grove Street - How Can We Afford This Place?"

Friends! The Musical Parody is directed by Ryan David Barto, and musical direction by Rita Posillico. Bob and Tobly McSmith, the creators of The Office! An Unauthorized Musical Parody (also currently running at the Theater Center) and Love Actually? The Unauthorized Musical Parody, wrote the book and lyrics for the show; Assaf Gleizner wrote the music.
