Erich Bergen to return to 'Chicago' on Broadway
The stage and screen actor will return to the role of the lawyer Billy Flynn for an eight-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre.
All he cares about is love! Erich Bergen, a veteran of Chicago on Broadway, will return to the production at the Ambassador Theatre for a limited time this spring.
The Kander and Ebb classic Chicago has run since 1996, making it the second-longest-running Broadway musical of all time. The show follows fictional criminals Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two vaudeville performers whose stints in jail end up being their ticket to stardom thanks to the slick lawyer Billy Flynn.
Bergen will once again step into the role of Billy Flynn, following his debut in the role in fall 2022. He will begin performances on April 10 alongside the previously announced Kimberly Marable as Velma Kelly, Liam Fennecken as Amos Hart, Charity Angél Dawson as Matron "Mama" Morton, and Olivia Holt in her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart.
Bergen will be in the cast through June 4.
