What is The Thanksgiving Play about?

The Thanksgiving Play is a satire that centers on a makeshift amateur theatre troupe's attempt to put on a Native American-centric Thanksgiving pageant. The problem is, they're all white. A cornucopia of problems arise as they try to be culturally conscious and take the Native perspective into account when it's not present in the room.

With The Thanksgiving Play, FastHorse becomes the first female Native American Broadway playwright in history.
