Cast and Creative Team announced for 'Twas the Night Before... by Cirque du Soleil

The world premiere of 'Twas the Night Before... will play the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 12 through December 29, 2019.

Cirque du Soleil presents its first-ever Christmas show in New York City this holiday season, scheduled to stage its world premiere at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 12 through December 29, 2019.

'Twas the Night Before... is the 49th original production by Cirque du Soleil; the Canadian company which has become a world leader in live entertainment and circus arts.

Synopsis: "'Twas the Night Before... is an exhilarating new spin on the beloved Christmas classic as only Cirque du Soleil can imagine. This vibrant acrobatic spectacle about the joy of sharing and friendship promises to spark lasting memories in the hearts of children and adults alike. 'Twas the Night Before... is a flurry of love, Christmas cheer, rip-roaring fun and hugely lovable characters that will become a new tradition for families to cherish. Join Isabella, a curious girl who's become jaded by the hoopla surrounding Christmas, as she is whisked away to an upside-down, inside-out world where she meets characters inspired by the original timeless poem. This world premiere boasts an international cast stemming from countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, China, Taiwan, and Spain, and specializing in circus arts from aerial acrobatics to inline skating. The cast includes Tuedon Ariri, Katharine Arnold, Rosie Axon, Adam Jukes, Louis Chen, Peter Lin, Tim Wang, Alexandar Yu, Michele Clark, Nicole Faubert, Guillaume Paquin, Quentin Greco, Jacob Gregorie, Chauncey Kroner, Timothé Vincent, Jinge Wang, Evan Tomlinson Weintraub, José Ignacio Flores Lopez, Alexis Vigneault, Jenna Beltran, Lyndsay Marie Farias, Kalila Hermant, Samuel Moore, Paul Ross, Diana Schoenfield, Paul Ross and Bianca Vallar.

Under the leadership of Daniel Fortin (as Vice-President Creation), the creative team behind 'Twas the Night Before... features Manuel Bissonnette as Creative Director, James Hadley as Stage Director & Writer, and Jean-Phi Goncalves as Musical Composer. It also features set design & art direction by Genevieve Lizotte, acrobatic choreography & performance design by Edesia Moreno, choreography by Vinh Nguyen Kinjaz, costume design by James Lavoie, lighting design by Nicolas Brion, and sound design by Ben Scheff.

'Twas the Night Before... is produced by Jayna Neagle under the helm of Cirque du Soleil Producer Marie-Josee Adam and Chief Executive Producer, Yasmine Khalil.
