'Archduke' completes Off-Broadway cast

Find out who is joining Tony Award nominee Patrick Page in this Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph's historical drama presented by Roundabout Theatre Company.

Roundabout Theatre Company has set the complete cast and creative team for its fall production of Archduke off Broadway, running from October 23 to December 21 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Opening night is November 12.

Joining previously announced Hadestown Tony Award nominee Patrick Page as Dragutin "Apis" Dimitrijevic are Jake Berne as Gavrilo, Tony nominee Kristine Nielsen as Sladjana, Adrien Rolet as Trifko, and Jason Sanchez as Nedeljko. Celeste Ciulla, Tom Holcomb, Evan Paul Silverstein are understudies.

Under the direction of Darko Tresnjak, Archduke also features scenic design by Alexander Dodge; costume design by Linda Cho; lighting design by Matthew Richards; sound design by Jane Shaw; hair, wig, and makeup design by Tom Watson; and fight direction by Rocio Mendez.

Archduke presents a new, darkly comic take on the story of Gavrilo Princip, whose assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand jump-started World War I. In this irreverent historical drama, Princip and his fellow teenage revolutionaries are not hardened killers, but a hungry, scrappy bunch swept up in forces larger than them in their search for purpose.
