The Public Theater has named the complete cast of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a new musical adaptation of the same-named book making its North American premiere. Off-Broadway performances run from October 8 to November 15, with opening night on October 21.

The cast of 15 actor/musicians is led by Tony Award nominee Andrew Durand (Dead Outlaw, The Rocky Horror Show) as Reverthi/Benjamin Button alongside Britney Coleman as Gwyns, Trevor Lindley Craft as Morlan, Brandon J. Ellis as Tewes, Katie Horner as Treth, Kelsee Kimmel as Sterenow/Elowen Keene, Sachiko Mae as Avoryow, Morgan Morse as Tonnow, Kris Saint-Louis as Lanow, Claire-Frances Sullivan as Ebron, and Matt Wolpe as Tir.

Craft, Ellis, Horner, Mae, and Sullivan are also understudies, and Jo Brook, Casey Martin Klein, Lauren Jeanne Thomas, and Spiff Wiegand are swings.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a love story centered on a man who ages in reverse. The musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel first premiered in London's West End to acclaim. The book, lyrics, and direction are by Jethro Compton, music and lyrics are by Darren Clark, and choreography is by Chi-San Howard.

The show will also feature scenic design by Compton, costume design by Anna Kelsey, lighting design by Zoe Spurr, sound design by Luke Swaffield for Autograph Sound, and orchestrations, arrangements, and music supervision by Mark Aspinall and Clark.
