They’re gonna need a bigger boat! The Shark Is Broken on Broadway has set its full cast ahead of its opening this summer. Performances run from July 25 to November 16 at the Golden Theatre; opening night is August 10.

Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice, School of Rock) will play Richard Dreyfuss, and Colin Donnell will play Roy Scheider. They join the previously announced Ian Shaw as his father, Robert Shaw.

The Shark Is Broken also features scenic and costume design by Duncan Henderson, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design and original music by Adam Cork, and video design by Nina Dunn.

Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon co-created The Shark Is Broken, which goes behind the scenes of the classic Steven Spielberg blockbuster Jaws. On a small boat, with a mechanical shark repeatedly breaking down and filming going more over budget and time with every minute, Shaw, Scheider, and Dreyfuss begin to bare their teeth.

Guy Masterson directs the show, which premiered in London and earned an Olivier Award nomination for Best Comedy Play.
