Nancy Opel stars as the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol off Broadway at the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) from November 23 to December 28, 2025.
Since making her Broadway debut as the understudy for the title role of Evita, Opel has appeared in over 20 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, becoming a stage favorite. Notable Broadway roles include Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown (Tony Award nomination), Madame Morrible in Into the Woods, Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, Madame in Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, and Cinderella's Stepmother in Into the Woods.
Opel received Drama Desk Award nominations for her Broadway performance in Honeymoon in Vegas and Off-Broadway performances in The Toxic Avenger and Polish Joke.
