Michael Schimmele stars as Babkak in Aladdin on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Schimmele made his Broadway debut in the role in August 2024. Regional credits include Frozen, Rent, In the Heights, Sister Act, Grease, and Crazy for You at venues including Paper Mill Playhouse, Muny, Asolo Repertory Theatre, and Stages St. Louis.
