Mel Semé stars as Ibrahim in Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Born and raised in Camagüey, Cuba, he studied at the prestigious University of Arts in Havana and now divides his time between Barcelona, Los Angeles, and New York's vibrant theatre scene. His music blends Cuban rhythms, pop, folk, and jazz, and he works as both a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist.
