Dennis Stowe stars as Jafar in Aladdin on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Stowe took over the role from Tony nominee Jonathan Freeman in January 2022. Other Broadway credits include Annie, Leap of Faith, Shrek the Musical, The Wedding Singer, The Apple Tree, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Wonderful Town, and Man of La Mancha, having also been an original Broadway company member of Aladdin as an ensemble member and Jafar/Sultan standby.
