On Monday, October 23, The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway return to Town Hall for our annual celebrity charity event that supports our non-profit activities throughout the year. Since 2001, stars from Broadway, film and TV have gathered to write, rehearse and perform new plays in 24 hours. Extraordinary artists race the clock, forge enduring creative partnerships and leave everything on the stage in a singular evening of live theater. This year, this one-night-only event honors playwright and screenwriter Warren Leight, a longtime supporter of the organization.
Proceeds from The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway support our non-profit activities throughout the year, including education programming with students from middle school to college, professional development for emerging artists in The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, our free Viral Monologues series, and our partner productions all around the world.
Scheduled to participate: Alison Pill, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Annabella Sciorra, Ato Blankson-Wood, Bebe Neuwirth, Cara Buono, Christopher Briney, christopher oscar peña, Clark Gregg, David Burtka, David Krumholtz, Ivey Lowe, Jesse Eisenberg, Kathryn Erbe, Kenneth Lonergan, Liz Carlson, Mark Linn-Baker, Michelle Gomez, Olli Haaskivi, Osh Ashruf, Pippin Parker, Raúl Esparza, T.R.
