UPDATE: Epiphany will now begin previews on May 26, ahead of a June 23 opening night.

Lincoln Center Theater will premiere a new play, Epiphany, by Brian Watkins off Broadway this spring. Performances begin May 19 at LCT's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater ahead of a June 16 opening night.

Epiphany takes place during a winter dinner party, where the host has gathered old friends to revive an old, forgotten tradition of theirs. When the guest of honor is mysteriously late, however, the group becomes haunted by questions about their absence that not even wine or food can alleviate.

The full cast has been set, which includes Francois Battiste, Marylouise Burke, Heather Burns, Jonathan Hadary, Omar Metwally, Colby Minifie, David Ryan Smith, C.J. Wilson, and Carmen Zilles.

The creative team includes director Tyne Rafaeli, set designer John Lee Beatty, costume designer Montana Levi Blanco, lighting designer Isabella Byrd, and original music composer and sound designer Daniel Kluger. Epiphany marks playwright Watkins's first professional production in New York.
