Aaron Taylor-Johnson as John Lennon in the film "Nowhere Boy"

Producers Robyn Goodman and Josh Fiedler have announced that a stage adaptation of the 2009 film "Nowhere Boy" is in the early stages of development and will reportedly take the form of a play with music, featuring John Lennon's songs of the 1950s before he went on to conquer the world with The Beatles. The film, which starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson as John Lennon, centers on two women who had a tremendous influence on his life: his mother, Julia (played by Anne-Marie Duff) and aunt Mimi Smith (played by Kristin Scott Thomas). A timeline for the production is yet to be confirmed.
