About

Named after esteemed Broadway producer Daryl Roth, who purchased the building in 1996, the Daryl Roth Theatre has 299 seats. However, the Daryl Roth Theatre can accommodate up to 499 standing patrons, previously exemplified by the long-running Off-Broadway engagement of Fuerza Bruta.

The building originally functioned as the Union Square Savings Bank until Roth’s acquisition. The venue also houses a 99-seat performance space called the DR2 Theatre, which was added in 2002, and a cabaret bar downstairs called The D-Lounge.
