Any other theatre fans hoping Winona Ryder will make her stage debut someday? The two-time Oscar-nominated actress has yet to perform on Broadway or in London's West End, but she's still making a big impression in the theatre world.

Ryder has starred in stage-to-screen adaptations like The Crucible, and numerous films and TV show's on Ryder's resume, like Little Women and Dracula, have been adapted as theatre. In 2026, we've found ourselves in a golden age of the Ryder-verse, where five of her screen projects are hitting the stage at the same time. They're spread out in cities from New York to Boston to London, which means Ryder fans far and wide can get their fix while we wait for the actress to announce a theatre gig of her own.

Musical

London: Prince Edward Theatre for an open run

Ryder's breakthrough role came in the 1988 Tim Burton flick Beetlejuice. Her Lydia Deetz, a macabre teenager, is a frightfully fun accomplice to the titular poltergeist. And in the musical version, she gets some of the show's most famous songs, like "Dead Mom."

Beetlejuice has had three Broadway runs, most recently in 2025, but London audiences can now see the "ghost with the most" in the West End.
