'The Verge' Off-Broadway cast set

The Public Theater and Fiasco Theater have named the complete cast for their production of The Verge off Broadway, running at the Public from October 27 to November 22. Opening night is November 5.

Joining the previously announced Miriam Silverman (Tony Award winner for The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window) as Claire Archer are Noah Brody as Harry, Paul L. Coffey as Anthony/Dr. Emmons, Devin E. Haqq as Dick, Amara Leonard as Elizabeth, Paco Tolson as Tom, and Emily Young as Adalaide/Hattie.

The Verge will also feature lighting design by Amith Chandrashaker, costume design by Sarita P. Fellows, sound design by Bailey Trierweiler, scenic design by Lawrence E. Moten III, music supervision by Daniel Kluger, props direction by Caitlyn Murphy, and production stage management by Caroline Englander.

Susan Glaspell's 1921 play, now directed by Fiasco Theater’s Jessie Austrian, follows a botanist trying to create a new kind of plant. While she's working, chaos erupts as her husband, lover, and soulmate each arrive in her greenhouse seeking shelter from a snowstorm.
