There's more time to hear the music of the night! The Phantom of the Opera has extended on Broadway for an additional eight weeks. Originally set to close on February 18, Broadway's longest-running show will now run at the Majestic Theatre through April 16.

The Phantom of the Opera centers on Christine, an ingenue at the Paris Opera House who finds herself caught in a love triangle between her childhood sweetheart Raoul and her music teacher, the mysterious and obsessive Phantom. The show contains famous showtunes like "Masquerade" and "All I Ask of You."

Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera has been on Broadway since 1988. At the time of closing, it will have just celebrated its 35th anniversary and played a record-setting 14,000 performances, more than any show in Broadway history. The musical is the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
