“The hunger of audiences for our show continues unabated. We are grateful to Hugh and Sutton and our entire glorious company for agreeing to add these additional 16 performances. The joy they bring to audiences night after night is incredible to witness and we know this The Music Man will be remembered long after the final curtain comes down. If we could go on forever, we would,” said producer Kate Horton.

In The Music Man, con man Professor Harold Hill (Jackman) arrives in River City, Iowa as a music teacher. He falls for the local librarian Marian Paroo, and she hesitates to expose his con after falling for him back. Learn more about why to see The Music Man on Broadway.

In a New York Theatre Guide review of The Music Man, our critic said: "The production is exquisitely timed, to the heights of its above-the-title talent. Jackman is a charm attack in suspendered slacks, nimble-footed, smooth but not slick, with suave vocals and a smile as assured as a railroad... Foster's Marian is wry but not cynical, sharp but still tender, a tough shell with a golden, runny heart like an egg. The Anything Goes star brings a precise wit to the role that is relentlessly delightful."

Jerry Zaks directs The Music Man, and the show features choreography by Warren Carlyle, set and costume design by Santo Loquastol, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, and sound design by Scott Lehrer.
