Signature Theatre has set the cast for its Off-Broadway production of Sunset Baby by two-time Tony Award nominee Dominique Morisseau. Performances run at the Pershing Square Signature Center from January 30 to March 10.

The complete Sunset Baby cast includes Moses Ingram, Russell Hornsby, and J. Alphonse Nicholson, under the direction of Steve H. Broadnax III.

Sunset Baby follows the reunion between Kenyatta and Nina, a former Black revolutionary and his daughter. Morisseau's story of redemption, liberation, and political action follows what happens as their fraught relationship rekindles after many years, and they both seek change from each other.

Morisseau was last represented at Signature in spring 2022 with her new play Confederates. Sunset Baby is the first of three productions in the Off-Broadway company's spring season, followed by Sarah Ruhl's Orlando and Dave Malloy's Three Houses.
