'Skeleton Crew' to offer Broadway rush tickets on TodayTix
The show will run from December 21 to February 20.
Make no bones about it! Dominique Morisseau's play Skeleton Crew will offer $30 rush tickets for the entirety of its Broadway run. The show, mounted by Manhattan Theatre Club, will perform at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre from December 21 to February 20, with an opening night of January 12.
Skeleton Crew Rush tickets will become available at 10 a.m. each performance day on the TodayTix app. A limited number of tickets will be made available for that day's performance and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each user can request one or two tickets. Before their chosen performance, users must "unlock" the rush program by posting about it on social media.
Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad leads the cast of the Broadway premiere of Skeleton Crew as the blue-collar worker Faye. The play is set in 2008 Detroit, when the only auto plant left in the city is also about to close. The bonds and loyalties between the employees there, who support each other like a family, are tested now that their jobs are at stake.
