'Ohio State Murders,' starring Audra McDonald, to offer Broadway rush and lottery tickets

Ohio State Murders will offer rush and lottery tickets, the show announced ahead of its first Broadway performance tonight. The play by Adrienne Kennedy is the first show to reopen the newly renovated and renamed James Earl Jones Theatre; its official opening night is December 8.
Ohio State Murders offers a digital lottery for $54 tickets. The lottery is open for entries between midnight and 3 p.m. the day before each performance; winners are drawn at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Winners can purchase up to two tickets for the following day's performance. Lottery tickets are subject to availability.
Ohio State Murders also offers $39 rush tickets at the box office each day. Ten rush tickets will be made available for that day's performance on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning when the box office opens each day. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day except Sunday.
Six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald stars in Ohio State Murders as Suzanne Alexander, a writer who visits her alma mater to discuss her writing. While there, she faces the dark truth about crimes committed while she was a student there decades before.
Ohio State Murders marks Kennedy's Broadway playwriting debut at age 91.
